Tricksy has announced the R2R Bulk Feed and Take-up System for Roland, Mutoh, Hewlett-Packard, and Mimaki inkjet printers. The R2R system allows sublimation, fabric, and banner printers to run up to 600-lb master rolls of material for uninterrupted printing.

Key features of the R2R Bulk Feed and Take-up System include:

• The R2R device is completely independent of the printer and does not connect electronically to the printer in any way; it reacts only to the substrate tension from the printer;
• It requires only 3 in. of material fed from the printer to begin the web-tensioning process; and
• Temperature-controlled drying unit and 7-ft web length before substrate gets wound within the take-up roller provide for dry ink with any ink/media combination, the company reports.

Heating units are available as an option, maximum two per R2R.
