Triangle Digital is adding to its digital product
line with the introduction of its UVcurable
package. The package comprises
ZND (UV-curable inks), BondAid I and
BondAid II adhesion promoters, and
CristalBond protective clearcoat.

The latest addition to its Picture Perfect
line of digital inks, ZND is designed
for use with the Zund UVjet 215-C and Inca
Eagle UV-curable printers. This 4-color
inkset uses pigments for vibrant colors,
greater color density, and weather resistance.
Triangle also says ZND provides better
adhesion for surfaces such as styrene,
acrylic, and Sintra.

Its BondAid is specially formulated,
optically clear alcohol-base coating to
improve adhesion between UV-curable
inks and rigid surfaces. BondAid I is
designed to work with metal, glass, and
tile; BondAid II is engineered to work with
common plastic substrates such as
acrylic and Lexan (it has had limited success
with styrene and will not improve
adhesion on HDPE/molded plastics).
BondAid is hand-applied.

CristalBond D007 is a water-based
clearcoat to help “pop”colors on UV prints
and to increase resistance to chemicals
and abrasion. (Triangle Digital: www.triangledigital.biz)
