A YOUNG LADY with no print experience or understanding walked into our business. Our sales team was out and I thought instead of having her wait, I would help her. I tried to explain why her file would not work at the scale she requested and went up to the second floor to have one of our graphic artists print a piece of paper so she can have a better understanding. She was frustrated, and she asked the front office to speak to my supervisor. My office manager came to get me … I explained to [the client] that I was the president! I then said, “If you want to report me, you would have to call my mother.” I wanted to tell her she was a sexist #$@&%*! — she was expecting a man!
