Sihl has announced the addition of Sihl 3183, a 7-mil satin photo paper designed for printing with most inkjet technologies.

Providing an “E” surface, similar to slightly textured surfaces created for silver-halide photo prints, the company reports, Sihl 3183 is designed to mimic a real photographic look and features a satin gloss level for high-color gamut and a low-glare finish (for applications such as portraits and other graphics). In addition, its ink-receptive coating is designed to produce photo-quality quick-drying images and is compatible with Latex as well as UV, true solvent, and eco-solvent printers. It’s compatible with thermal or pressure-sensitive adhesive laminating films.

Available in the following sizes: 36-, 54-, and 60-in. x 150-ft (3-in. core).
