ST Media Group International Inc., publisher of The Big Picture as well as other industry publications, has announced its plans to host the first annual Signage and Graphics Summit, January 25″?27, 2006, at the Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort in Tampa Bay, FL. The new Signage and Graphics Summit will feature three days of education, networking and relationship development in an intimate setting designed to bring together top-level professionals in the signage and graphics markets.

The Signage and Graphics Summit is geared toward companies that conduct high-volume business with large accounts, including digital print operations, production sign companies, headquarters of nationwide sign franchises, screen printers specializing in display graphics, and other graphics providers who use large-format digital printing. The program will be developed specifically for CEOs and production heads of these leading companies.

Seminar programming will be developed by the editors of The Big Picture, Signs of the Times, and Screen Printing magazines. Seminars will focus on the technologies, business-management issues, and market-development opportunities that unite leading signage and graphics companies. The program will also include breakout sessions for digital print shops, sign companies, and screen printers, zeroing in on the most timely and pressing topics for these industries.

In addition to an extensive seminar program, the Summit will feature structured networking time including roundtable discussions, meals, evening social events, and a golf tournament.

Summit sponsors will include industry suppliers as well as associations, including SGIA. “The idea for the Summit came from listening to signage and graphics providers as they discussed the challenges that they face,” says Tedd Swormstedt, president of ST Media Group International. “With the support of SGIA, we feel that we have an incredible opportunity to provide graphics professionals with a unique forum to learn, share ideas and face challenges.”

Updates about the Signage and Graphics Summit will be available on the event's website, including, as they become available, details about the seminar program, sponsorship opportunities, and general Summit information. Sign up for e-mail updates on the website. Pre-event coverage will also be published in the coming issues of The Big Picture, Signs of the Times, and Screen Printing magazines.
