3M has introduced several new films and a new series of iks for use with Agfa printers (all films available in various roll widths and lengths):

• 6-mil IJ86E wall-decorating film is a non-PVC film designed for UV inkjet printing of interior wall graphics. It allows for sliding and repositioning of the graphic and features air-release channels for quick, bubble-free install.

• Scotchcal Series 50 graphic film is designed for electronically cut promotional graphics, logos, emblems, lettering, and labels for signs, and can be installed on various surfaces, including flexible signage, glass, metal, acrylic, polycarbonate, fiberglass, and painted surfaces. The 3-mil, calendered film features a lay-flat liner and is removable within three years with little or no adhesive residue. Available in 25 colors.

• Scotchcal IJ65 perforated window-graphic film is a 6-mil, calendered film with a pressure-sensitive, removable adhesive and 50-percent perf pattern. Designed for solvent inkjet printing.

• Scotchlite Series 5100 and IJ5100 permanent, engineer-grade, reflective, 6-mil films are designed for piezo inkjet printing and offer reflectivity for graphic details such as phone numbers and Web addresses. Available in 15 colors.

3M also launched its Series 6200 piezo inkjet inks for use with Agfa solvent printers. When used with 3M media and applied according to 3M technical specs, graphics are warranted by 3M.
