Seal Graphics Americas, Neschen USA and Neschen-Accutech to Form Neschen Americas

Neschen AG, parent company to Seal Graphics Americas, Neschen USA, and Neschen-Accutech has announced the reorganization and consolidation of its three American companies into a new company, Neschen Americas. The reorganization went live March 6. 2006.

Serving both North and South America, the new company will maintain its headquarters in Elkridge, Maryland, USA. Company facilities in Wichita, Kansas, will be closed and moved to Elkridge, while manufacturing operations in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, and at the Elkridge facility will remain.

“The formation of Neschen Americas is aimed at streamlining our business and evolving the level of service and the quality of our products to our customers,” says Stefan Zinn, CEO of Neschen AG. “Consolidating and integrating our operations and resources in North America will allow us to respond favorably and quickly to changes and new requirements in the markets we serve.” Mr. Zinn goes on to explain that a single point of contact with the new company will put a broader scope of resources and benefits at the customer's disposal.

Leading management responsibility for Neschen Americas has been assigned to current Seal Graphics Americas company president, W. Ernest Precious, with support from an executive management team that includes Neschen's Joe Trnka (continues as Neschen Americas Sales Director), Neschen-Accutech's Bernd Tischer, and Seal's Ken Ferrigno.

Neschen Americas will manage two major brand groups”?Seal and Neschen. The Seal brand includes Seal laminators, laminating films and adhesives, cutters and trimmers, printing media, and foamboards. The Neschen brand group includes products such as filmolux laminates, gudy adhesives, the Pro sign vinyl, Accu-Coat and Accu-Cure superwide liquid laminating systems, as well as Vacutex, Solvotex, and Tranfertex media, display accessories, and more.

All of the Neschen Americas product lines will be represented by Hasco Sales as well as by Neschen Americas sales representatives. Currently Hasco Sales currently represents the Seal Graphics and Neschen-Accutech product lines; after consolidation, Hasco will add the Neschen brand laminates, adhesives and print media to the portfolio of products they represent. The Neschen Sign Vinyl (colored vinyl) will be represented by Neschen Americas sales reps.

While the majority of the workforce at Neschen USA has been eliminated as a result of the consolidation, some of the members of the team will continue with Neschen Americas for 4-6 weeks. The workforce of Seal Graphics and Neschen-Accutech remains intact.

The consolidated company is in the process of launching a new home page, www.neschenamericas.com. Accessing any of the three companies respective web addresses will redirect users to the new home page. Currently this site contains information about the consolidation, contact information, news, and events; the page links to Seal and Neschen brand products on the individual sites for Neschen-Accutech, Neschen USA, and Seal. Long-term, the company will integrate all of the web sites into one.
