Nur Macroprinters has formed Nur Mexico, a joint venture between Nur America and Soluciones para Impresores S.A. de C.V. The operation will be based in a new 600-square-meter facility in Monterrey; Juan Carlos Vega, a long-time representative of Nur America in Mexico, has been appointed managing director of the new venture.

The new NUR Mexico facility is designed to provide a single point of contact for Mexican customers. It will feature a demonstration and training center and a support center–all staffed by Spanish-speaking personnel. Ink and spare parts will also be available.

“Our new facility in Monterrey means doing business with Nur Macroprinters in Mexico has just become a lot easier,” says Nachum Korman, president of Nur America. “Along with a new demo center, we are expanding and strengthening our local staff presence to better serve the needs of our customers.” Nur Mexico's staff will include five trained, authorized service engineers based out of Monterrey, Queretaro, and Mexico City.
