Raster Printers has introduced the 4000 Series Premium UV-Curable inks for its Daytona and RP-720UVZ flatbed printers. To expand the color gamut, the new inkset features optional orange and blue in addition to CMYKcm. These 4000 series inks offer a longer outdoor life and good adhesion on polycarbonates, acrylics, corrugated plastics, and metals, without the application of a pre-coat, Raster reports.

RP-720UVZ users can choose between the light cm inks and orange and blue for the 6-color printer; customers can switch back and forth between the CMYKcm (for better skin tones and photos) and CMYKOB inksets (for wider color gamut).

Price: CMYKcm inks are $195/liter; Orange and Blue are $295/liter.
