PrintShop Mail 5 Available for Windows and Mac

Atlas Software has released version 5 of its variable data printing (VSP) software, PrintShop Mail. PrintShop Mail users can design VDP projects in any design program and combine that with almost any database format, RIP it in any Postscript RIP to print on any Postscript print engine.

The new Windows version includes Text Overflow, Snap Content to Frame, and an improved graphical user interface. Text Overflow allows text to flow into the next text object (for transactional applications); and the Snapping Content to Frame feature allows users to dynamically adjust a box to content (especially good for Web-to-print applications).

The Mac version has been rewritten to ensure optimal processing speeds, and is made for OS X Panther version.

PrintMail 5 Standard version (allows up to 200,000 records) is now available for $1395; PrintShop Mail 5 Production version (with unlimited records) is $4995. (Atlas Software: www.atlassoftware.com, www.printshopmail.com)
