New Vision Services, the technical and marketing-services division of Tekgraf, has announced its Prints In Motion winter tour dates for 2008. A multi-city training tour, the Prints in Motion event is designed to educate commercial printers and sign shops on the use of solvent printing and vehicle-wrap services to help grow their businesses; topics such as marketing and design will also be covered.

'Graphics and sign manufacturers see the potential for wrap services but they do not necessarily know how to enter the market. The goal of this forum is to educate those business owners and operators so they understand what's involved and how they can capitalize on a lucrative new revenue stream,' says New Vision vice president Rick Slagle.

The Prints In Motion winter tour will include five major cities, including:

* Pleasanton, California — January 8, at the Palm Event Center;

* Orange, California — January 21, at the Doubletree Hotel in Anaheim;

* Grapevine, Texas — February 25, at the Embassy Suites; and

* Orlando, Florida — March, exact dates and locale to be announced.

Other industry company participants include GBC, HP, Onyx Graphics, Summa, and 3M; HP-certified solvent technicians and 3M-certified installers will be on hand to provide an introduction to solvent printing and application techniques.

Registration fee: $35 per attendee; the events are open to the public, and participants may register online. Registration fee includes lunch and all presentation materials.
