Persona Cross Media Suite from Pageflex

Pageflex has introduced Persona Cross Media Suite, a desktop software application incorporating variable-data and cross-media functionality. Capable of enabling database-driven personalized output in print as well as e-mail, the suite enables users to produce direct-mail postcards, mailers, business cards, marketing materials, personalized booklets and, of course, e-mails.

Specific features include: variable-length document capability; the ability to import initial layouts from Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress; flexible templates that automatically resize items on the page based on the amount of custom content added; advanced copyfitting; the ability to connect to any digital asset-management system; the ability to compose text in more than 60 languages include Japanese and Chinese; and cross compatibility with Web-to-print.

The complete application suite is priced at $4995, which includes output drivers for EPS, HTML, and PDF. Add-on drivers for PPML, VDX, VPS, and JLYT are available for $2500.
