Nur's Print Factory Event

NUR America will host its first-ever Print Factory event in the US, June 2-15 in Alhambara, CA. Based on an event the company initiated in Australia earlier this year, Print Factory enables attendees to schedule half-day, private test drives of the company's new modular Tempo flatbed (with white-ink option) or its Expedio 5000 UV inkjet press. Participants also will be allowed to run live jobs”?”as little or as much output as you want,” says Nur– at no cost. Nur will provide ink and a selection of media including frontlit, mesh, Gatorfoam, Sintra, blueback paper, SAV, and more.

“This is a terrific way for print service providers interested in Nur equipment to get to know the capabilities of a machine like Nur Tempo or Nur Expedio in a production environment–something they can't get at a trade show or with a canned presentation,” says Nachum Korman, president of Nur America, Inc. “The added advantage to them is they get to run live output at our expense which they can then deliver to one of their customers.”

Attendees or their representatives must be on-site during the actual production time. Nur will provide skilled operators to run the jobs or provide demonstrations. The company has arranged for special corporate rates at the nearby Hilton hotel. At present, no similar East Coast event is in the works, Nur reports. (Nur: www.nur.com)
