Mac Version of Jaws PDF Creator Debuts

Global Graphics has introduced a new
version of Jaws PDF Creator specifically
for Macintosh users. Version 4.0 builds
on previous software features such as
font and color handling, 128-bit security
encryption, and fast Web downloads, plus
it is fully compliant with the PDF 1.5 specification
and can be used with Jaws PDF
Editor and Adobe Acrobat. It lets users
“print” to PDF or convert PostScript or EPS
files to PDF by dragging and dropping to
the Jaws icon on the desktop. Plug-ins
making files compliant with PDF/X-1a:
2001 and PDF-X-3: 2002 standards are
now standard for the Mac version.

Jaws PDF Creator v. 4.0 is compatible
with the PDF 1.5, PDF 1.4, and PDF 1.3
specifications and runs on Mac OS X (up
to 10.4), Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP,
and others. MSRP: $84.
