Nikon School Photography Series Sets Schedule

The new Nikon School Photography series of seminars will launch on October 2, 2004 in New York City and will visit more than 20 cities in the US through June 2005. The series emphasizes shooting digital and comprises three separate one-day courses: Shooting Digital, Digital 101, and Digital 201: Workflow Techniques.

“With the expansion of digital imaging into America's homes and offices, we recognize the need to educate photographers at all skill levels on how to get the most out of their digital experience,” says Jerry Grossman, Nikon's vice president of marketing.

The courses include:

Shooting Digital: Designed to provide consumers with a solid understanding of the photographic process, regardless of the camera or media used. Creative camera techniques and how to capture great pictures in any situation.

Digital 101: How to get the most from your digital camera. Basic digital-camera technology, and exploring the computer side of digital; plus, how to print pictures and share images.

Digital 201 “? Workflow Techniques: Emerging digital technologies plus the intricacies of digital workflow. How to shoot, archive, manage color, calibrate monitors, and more.
