New Perfection V600 Photo Scanner from Epson

Epson America has introduced the Epson Perfection V600 photo scanner, a mid-range scanning solution for photos, film, slides, and documents.

The Perfection V600 flatbed features 6400 x 9600 dpi resolution and 3.4 Dmax, and can accommodate originals up to 8.5 x 11.7 in. It features photo-restoration tools with Digital ICE and Epson Easy Photo Fix technologies, as well as four customizable buttons to scan, copy, scan-to-email, and create PDFs. The unit’s ReadyScan LED technology allows for faster scan speeds with no warm-up time and increased energy effciency, Epson reports.

Price: $249.99, including a built-in transparency unit, Adobe PhotoShop Elements, and ABBYY Fine Reader Sprint Plus OCR.
