Step into the lobby of the Ernst & Young 3D Theater in Chicago’s Field Museum and you’re immediately greeted by a set of 3D lenticular posters created by Big3D.

The lenticular posters are a permanent part of the lobby, and are updated as new features are added to the theater’s lineup. Each poster measures 4 x 6 feet and was produced with Big3D’s Océ LightJet 5000RS, output onto Kodak EnduraTrans. The posters were then hand-mounted to lenticular lens material and installed (by Field Museum exhibit staff) into lightboxes built into a freestanding wall in the theater lobby.
