Mutoh America has introduced two new ValueJet models: the 1638X and the 1638WX.

The ValueJet 1638X is a 64-inch eco-solvent printer, replacing the company’s ValueJet 1638 model. Available with CMYKcmk or CMYK x 2 inksets, the 1638X features staggered dual printheads and a top speed of 1012 sq ft/hr, making it the company’s fastest ValueJet model. Max resolution is 1440 dpi.

Features include: Intelligent Interweave to eliminate banding; ValueJet Status Monitor for remote status; ColorVerify process control system (ColorVerify Pro-capable), FlexiPrint SAi RIP software and more. Options include: heavy-duty take-up system, and a SpectroVue VM-10 spectrophotometer.

Also new is the ValueJet 1638WX, a 64-inch staggered dual-head, dye-sublimation printer that replaces the company’s 1638W model. Like its new 1638X sibling, the 1638WX can also hit a top speed of 1012 sq ft/hr and offers a max resolution of 1440 dpi.

Features include: a CMYK x 2 inkset; Intelligent Interweave to eliminate banding; ValueJet Status Monitor for remote status; rear media feed lever (for easy material handling); easy-to-navigate control panel; and more. A heavy-duty take-up system is optional.

Both new ValueJet models carry an MSRP of $27,995.
