Two printers engineered for textile and apparel applications.

Mimaki has launched two inkjet presses engineered for textile and apparel applications including interior décor, wallcoverings, event and booth graphics, flags, apparel, and more. The entry-level, 64-in. TS100-1600 sublimation transfer roll-based printer offers highly detailed, photographic-quality prints for small to large production runs, the company reports. Features include new one-liter bottled sublimation ink in blue, magenta, yellow, and black; max. print speeds of 753 sq ft/hr; Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) and Nozzle Recovery System (NRS); Dot Adjustment System for automated alignment; RasterLink7 RIP and support for TxLink4 Lite; and more.

The 73-in. Tiger-1800B Mk III high-speed textile printer is equipped with new Mimaki Printer Controller touchscreen operation software, 10-kg ink tanks for increased run times, NRS, Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4, support for TxLink4 Lite, adhesive belt transport system with belt washing technology and in-line heat drying unit, and more. Reaching print speeds up to 4,144 sq ft/hr, the press is available in two configurations: a direct-to-textile model or paper transfer dye sublimation model.
