Technical Advisor
Michael Sanders is the technical advisory of Western Sensibility a digital textile printing studio specializing in sustainable, life-friendly textiles inspired by the American west. With deep roots in the textile industry and 40-plus years of experience, he has extensive knowledge in dyeing, printing, and finishing both cotton and polyester fibers. Sanders is recognized as an industry leader and has been involved in digital textile printing since the early days of the discipline’s existence. Previously, Sanders co-owned and served as VP of Pacific Coast Fabrics, which was acquired by TVF in 2017, where he served as director of Printable Textiles and Finishing Technology. Prior to that, he served as VP of Cal-Pacific Dyeing, Finishing and Printing Corp. He received his technical textile training from Sandoz in Switzerland and Bayer in Germany. Today, Sandes sits on boards and expert panels, lectures nationally, and writes for many digital printing publications.
