Roland has introduced an optional mesh-printing unit for its 104-in. AdvancedJet AJ-1000 solvent printer. Supporting the printing of unlined mesh on the machine, the unit attaches and detaches easily, and features a built-in drainage system for removal of excess ink. Price: $3895.

In addition, Roland has announced a 2-yr warranty for the company’s 54-in. SolJet Pro III XC-540 printer/cutter. The 2-yr warranty is part of Roland’s Passport Customer Care Program, which offers extended warranties, on-site service, Internet and phone technical support, newsletters, and online user forums, as well as training through Roland University workshops.
