Massivit 3D Printing Technologies has unveiled the Massivit 1500 Exploration 3D printer. The large-format 3D printer offers a smaller footprint than the Massivit 1800 Flagship model and is positioned for smaller facilities. Both printers produce lightweight, hollow models that do not require separate structural support. The 1500 model prints 11.4 in./hr on the Z axis with gel-dispensing additive printing using the company’s Dimengel. Max. printing size is 58-in. wide, 46-in. deep, and 57-in. high.

3D printed applications include integrated 2D and 3D displays, soft signage frames, P-O-P displays, scenic props, illuminated signage, thermoforming molds for retail, event, and interior design displays, and more, the company reports.
