Infiniti Adds Upgraded Fina Printers

Infiniti has upgraded its Fina printer lineup, bolstering each model with faster speeds and better resolutions.

The Fina160A is a 64-in. solvent printer with 8 Xaar 126 30-pl heads. With resolutions up to 1440 dpi, the 4-color printer offers speeds up to 237 sq ft/hr in 540-dpi mode and 96 sq ft/hr in 1440-dpi mode. Other features include 800-ml ink tanks, adjustable head heights, preheating and drying system, auto head cleaning, and an Infiniti RIP. Price: $16,998.

Now available with 8 or 12 Xaar 30-pl printheads, the new 98-in. Fina250A features CMYK solvent inks, an auto media feeding and take-up system, drying fan, and head-cleaning system. Top speed for the 8-head system is 274 sq ft/hr at 540-dpi resolution, while the 12-head printer offers 414 sq ft/hr in 540-dpi mode. Price: 8-head 250A, $26,998; 12-head 250A, $33,998.

The 128-in. Fina320A offers 12 Xaar 126 heads, 30-pl drops, CMYK solvent inks, auto media-feeding system, take-up system, drying fan, and head-cleaning system. Print speeds for the 320A top out at 495 sq ft/hr at 540 dpi and its high-quality speeds hit 183 sq ft/hr in 1440 dpi. Price: $30,998.

The solvent-based Fina320B comes with a choice of 12 or 16 Xaar 126 heads. Price: 12-head model, $33,998; 16-head model, $35,998.

The Fina320S is similar to the other 320 printers, but offers 12 Spectra 128 SM heads instead of the Xaar heads. Price for the 320S: $69,998.

Also new to the lineup are two UV-curable printers: the 65-in. Fina1612UV flatbed and the Fina3360UV rollfed machine. Featuring 12 Xaar 126 30-pl heads and resolutions up to 1440 dpi, this UV-curable Fina1612UV printer offers CMYKcm inks, 800-ml ink tanks, a Fina RIP, and accommodates rigid substrates up to 1-in. thick, as well as rollfed media. The 1612UV has speeds up to 107 sq ft/hr in 4-pass mode and 46 sq ft/hr in 8-pass mode. Price: $41,980.

The 125-in. Fina3360UV printer is armed with 24 Spectra heads, CMYKcm inks, and is compatible with vinyl, paper, one-way vision, and banner media. With resolutions up to 1200 dpi, the 3360UV can produce speeds ranging from 391 sq ft/hr in 720 x 600-dpi mode to 197 sq ft/hr in 720 x 1200-dpi mode. Also included with the printer: a pneumatically controlled auto-feed system as well as media preheaters and dryers.
