When a thunderstorm descended upon Cincinnati the Friday before Labor Day, sponsor banners for the 2015 WEBN Labor Day weekend fireworks – an annual tradition since 1977 – were destroyed just two days before the event. Locally based GCI Digital Imaging turned around 10 16 x 25-foot banners – totaling 4000 square feet – overnight, reworking design files, imaging the mesh banners on the shop’s HP printers, finishing, and installing the project on The Purple People Bridge before the event kicked off on Sunday morning.
