GBC has introduced the 2064Ct and 640t, its newest generation of cold, pressure-sensitive, roll laminators. Specifi cally designed for solvent and eco-solvent printed media and UV-printed, adhesive-backed vinyl, both laminators feature roll-to-roll lamination for increased productivity, including a top roller with heat assist to reduce curing time and improve lamination quality and production speeds, says the company.

The 2064Ct is a high-production machine designed to laminate and mount applications up to 64-inches wide and operate at speeds of up to 30 feet/minute. The 2064Ct also features a three-part electrical safety system.

Targeted for the entry- to mid-level marketplace, the 640t laminates and mounts pressure-sensitive fi lms and adhesives up to 61-inches wide at speeds of up to 16 feet/minute.

GBC is also launching a new training program called Onsite Operator and Process Training, designed to maximize productivity of the operator, reduce waste, and improve workfl ow. Process training includes: the proper loading and unloading of fi lm, webbing the laminator, building the primary customer application, and identifying the best workflow components.
