Full Spectrum Inks has introduced the
High Fidelity Color Reproduction System
(HiFi CRS) line of solvent inks for Mimaki
JV3, Roland EX Pro II, and Mutoh Falcon II
Outdoor wide-format printers. The 6-
color system includes orange and green,
along with CMYK. Full Spectrum claims
that the HiFI CRS is the first solvent 6-
color wide-format system to include
orange and green.

“The aqueous printing world has had
the luxury of orange and green primary
ink colors for years,” says Michael Self,
president of Full Spectrum Inks. “Now,
wide-format solvent-based printers and
untreated media can go head-to-head
and match the rich, vibrant color reproduction
previously available only with
expensive aqueous-based ink, treated
media, and lamination.”

The HiFi CRS can also print “neon” or
high brightness and spot colors. The inks
are available in bulk, refillable cartridges.

In addition, Full Spectrum Inks also has
announced its solvent inkset for the Roland
SOLJET EX series of wide-format printers.

Full Spectrum claims that these inks print
richer colors, have a quick drying time, and
a stronger adhesion to the media than other
eco-solvent (or mild-solvent) inks.
Full Spectrum Inks is a brand of Pixel
Perfect Imaging, which is the exclusive
importer and master distributor in North
America for MegaInk. (Full Spectrum Inks: www.fullspectruminks.com)
