Enovation debuts its new “Power Proofing” road show May 5 at Enovation's Hanover Park demo center in IL. The show will then move on to six other cities across the US. The shows will cover a variety of proofing issues, including remote proofing, inkjet and halftone dot proofing, two-sided imposition, large-format digital printing, and end-to-end color management. Additionally, information and training will be offered on: implementing process control in prepress and the pressroom; matching color from proof-to-press, press-to-press and facility-to-facility; implementing ICC-based color management; achieving and maintaining color standards such as SWOP and GRACoL; and implementing advanced screening technologies.

Each road show will include a presentation (given at 9 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.) as well as live demonstrations of the equipment. Enovation experts will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice. Demos will feature Fujifilm's new FinalProof GxT digital halftone proofer, the Fujifilm PictroProof contone proofer running in conjunction with ICS' Remote Director monitor-based proofing system, the Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor, and the Epson 4000 inkjet proofer with a GMG RIP.

After kicking off in Hanover Park, the “Power Proofing” road show will include stops in: Orlando, (May 19), Los Angeles (June 2), Baltimore (June 9), Akron, OH (June 16), Pennsauken, NJ (June 23), and New York (July 13). Registration is free. (Enovation: www.enovationgraphics.com, Power Proofing Road Show: www.powerproofing.com)
