As of October 1, Tokyo-based Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd. has taken on a new holding company structure, launching Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, which provides strategic management of the entire group, including two newly named operating companies: Fujifilm Corporation and Fuji Xerox Co. Ltd. The shift in structure is designed “to strengthen consolidated management, enhance strategic planning, and expand collaboration. The name changes have been made to better reflect the company's expansion into business areas beyond photography,” while retaining the assets of 'Fujifilm.”

As a result of the change to corporate structure, the following changes have been made to Fujifilm businesses in the US:

* Fuji Photo Film USA, Valhalla, NY, which is the sales and marketing group for photographic products and services, recording media and motion-picture film, will become Fujifilm USA.

* Enovation Graphic Systems, also in Valhalla, NY, the distributor of graphic-arts products, becomes Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA. In addition, Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA is also launching a new website – www.fujifilmgs.com – in conjunction with this change.

* Fuji Photo Film, headquartered in Greenwood, SC, the manufacturer of digital and film products for the graphic arts, photographic, and medical industries, becomes Fujifilm Manufacturing USA.

* Fuji Hunt Photographic Chemicals, headquartered in Allendale, NJ, the provider of products for the photographic, graphic arts, and specialty chemical industries, becomes Fujifilm Hunt Chemicals USA.

* Fuji Photo Film Hawaii, headquartered in Waipahu, HI, the provider of photographic products and services in Hawaii, becomes Fujifilm Hawaii.

* Fujifilm Microdisks USA, headquartered in Bedford, MA, and a manufacturer of Fujifilm data cartridge products, will become Fujifilm Recording Media Manufacturing USA.

The company also has changed its corporate brand logo. The familiar Fujifilm red hexagon mark has been eliminated, and a sharp accent design is now applied in the center of the logo. In addition, although the hue will change slightly, Fujifilm will continue to use green as its corporate color.
