Enfocus Introduces PDF Workflow Suite

The new Enfocus PDF Workflow Suite
comprises four tools that work together to
set up, communicate, and implement PDF
quality specifications: Instant PDF 3.0, an
Enfocus CertifiedPDF.net license, Enfocus
PitStop Professional, and Enfocus PitStop
Server.

• CertifiedPDF.net is a website that
  makes it easier for printers/publishers to
  communicate quality standards to each
  other and designers; PDF queues are
  automatically synchronized.
• Instant PDF 3.0 allows designers to
  download the specifications that guide
  the PDF creation and preflight process,
  enabling the creation of certified PDFs.
• Enfocus PitStop Professional provides
  interactive editing and correction
  abilities, and also enables Action Lists
  and PDF Profiles to be used for preflight
  and auto correction.
• PitStop Server automates the checking
  and correcting of incoming Instant
  PDF files. Certified PDFs are immediately
  identified and moved faster through production;
  non-certified PDFs are preflighted,
  automatically corrected if
  needed, and moved through production
  with little or no direct interaction.

Enfocus has also recently signed an
agreement with Vio Worldwide for Vio to
integrate the Enfocus PitStop Library
with its Vio Certified Delivery (VCD)
Agent”?a drag-and-drop solution that
incorporates certified preflighting and
online delivery of files.

Price of the Enfocus PDF Workflow
Suite starts at $3499. Instant PDF 3.0 is
also available as a standalone product for
$199 (and is also available in volume
