Dip-Tech Seeks Industry Standard for Ceramic Color

Dip-Tech has announced the Dip-Cmix Ceramic Premix Color Guide, developed as an industry standard for matching color in glass printing. Similarly to Pantone and RAL color guides, this swatchbook assigns a numerical code to each shade so that parties across the supply chain can discuss color consistently.

The colors in the book are based on the gamut of Dip-Tech’s digital ceramic inks and were chosen with the architectural industry in mind. Each color representation includes a Cmix number, the ink color composition, and an indicator if it references an RAL or Pantone color.
