Agfa Graphics has launched the Jeti 1224 UV HDC flatbed, the first former Gandinnovations printer re-engineered and re-badged since Agfa acquired the Jeti business.

The 96-inch 1224 UV HDC (HDC stands for “high definition color”), now in traditional Agfa red, uses Ricoh Gen 4 variable grayscale printhead technology as well as Anuvia HD inks (CMYK+W). Throughput is rated at 1182 square feet/hour in express mode, 582 square feet/hour in production mode and 390 square feet/hour in high-quality mode. It can hit a top resolution of 1200 dpi and accommodate media up to 2-inches thick. A roll-to-roll feature is optional. Scheduled to begin shipping in June.
