3M Graphic Maker Software 6.0 RIP

3M Commercial Graphics has released a
new version of its Scotchprint Graphic
Maker Software RIP, and is offering it as a
standalone product.

Version 6.0 of Graphic Maker, aimed at
increasing productivity in the largeformat
environment, includes more than
30 new features and improvements
including: Max Ink clip points, which allow
users to modify maximum ink laydown
and limit ink saturation; rosette screening;
enhanced ICC support; precision scaling to
two decimal points; an auto-layout preview;
enhanced PDF support; custom tile
editing and paneling; PostScript file handling;
and more.

The software supports most manufacturers'
4-, 6-, and 8-color large-format
printers. Graphic Maker 6.0 accepts TIFF,
EPS, JPEG, PostScript, and single- or multipage
PDF files, and runs on Windows XP
and Windows 2000 Professional or the
