FiberMate, a recyclable rigid print media, was introduced by 3A Composites. The wood-fiber panel, comprising 100% recycled fiber, is 3.2mm thick and features a white, water-based UV print coating on both sides, to allow for double-sided printing. Available in 49 x 97-in. sheets, FiberMate is designed for medium-term displays, interior signage, exhibits, and kiosks and for long-term framing applications. FiberMate can be recycled in either wood or paper waste streams, providing that the inks are also recyclable; the media is California Air Resource Board (CARB) compliant.
