X-Rite has released its 2003 schedule of training programs for color-quality assurance professionals working in prepress or printing and packaging pressrooms.
Training programs include “Understanding Densitometry,” a one-day hands-on course covering reflection density measurement, and “Diving into the World of Color,” a two-day course explaining the theory of color and how it is measured for quality assurance. These courses will be offered in cities throughout the US and Canada, beginning Feb. 2 in Charlotte, NC. The “Diving into the World of Color” course is also offered at X-Rite's Granville, MI training facility, as are courses on X-Rite's scanning systems.
