X-Rite Presents 'Fundamentals of Color and Appearance' Seminar

X-Rite will present training seminars on the “Fundamentals of Color and Appearance” in six US and Canadian cities this autumn. From the physics of color and lighting to data analysis, attendees will learn how to evaluate, measure, and communicate color. The 1-day course is targeted to “anyone who evaluates or approves color,” says the company, including designers, manufacturing, quality control and assurance professionals, lab technicians, parts suppliers, and supply-chain specifiers.

Topics covered include: the science of color and appearance; current standards and practices; visual and instrumental color assessment; applied color quality control; communicating color information; establishing your own color policies; and deploying enterprise-wide color management.
