Dramatic walls for a Las Vegas restaurant.

A STAPLE OF THE Las Vegas Strip, The Mirage Resort and Casino recently received a new addition to its restaurant repertoire. The 3044-room hotel, which has been featured in countless films including “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Vegas Vacation,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street,” added Diablo’s Cantina, a south-of-the-border dining and drinking experience. To match its flavorful menu and the hotel’s stunning stature, the eatery was in need of some eye-popping designs.

To achieve the depth and visual appeal for Diablo’s, Michael O’Brien, director of marketing, reached out to James Swanson, principal, Screaming Images. The Las Vegas-based shop printed and fitted the wall murals, featuring a Mexican-inspired flaming skeleton, on Drytac ReTac Textures Canvas, a matte white phthalate-free polymeric PVC film with an embossed textured finish. The designs were printed with the shop’s HP latex 3200 printer, and a Summa S2 T160 vinyl cutter was used to trim the panels.
