Wacom Releases 21.3-in. Interactive Pen Display

Wacom Technology now offers in its Cintiq lineup a 21.3-in. version”?the Cintiq 21UX. This LCD monitor with interactive pen allows users to work with the pen directly on the display.

Beyond the larger size (Wacom also offers 15- and 18-in. versions of the Cintiq), the Cintiq 21UX also features: a seamless surface free of bezels and borders; ExpressKeys providing quick access to keyboard shortcuts; finger sensitive Touch Strips on either side of the display for zooming, scrolling, etc.; new pen technology that provides pen-tilt
sensitivity and 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity (twice that of previous Cintiq models). Other features include improved stand design, color management with ICC profiles, USB connection, and more.

The display has a UXGA native resolution of 1600 x 1200 and a pixel pitch of 0.27mm for sharp clarity; it also features a 4:3 aspect ratio and a contrast ratio of 400:1. Price: $2499. (Wacom Technology: www.wacom.com)
