VPI Vertical Product Inspector

The VPI is an ISO 3664:2009 D50 compliant viewing system that has been designed for the visual evaluation and comparison of large format output in a convenient vertical format. The observer standing at a comfortable distance can view the entire image for visual comparison with a color monitor image, color transparency, or reference print.

VPI viewing stations are available in three sizes – 40” wide, 52” wide, and 64” wide. The addition of an optional lower light source provides better evenness of light on the printed piece. Select models offer a digital dimming option for soft proof comparisons. For critical soft proofing, the VPI/SP series accommodates a computer and monitor, with variable intensity for optimal match to monitor. Options include variable intensity for soft proof comparisons, height-adjustable artwork holder to support three dimensional artwork, and side walls for better control of ambient light.
