Every graphics shop has that one unforgettable request. For Derek Atchley of Atchley Graphics in Columbus, OH, it came from a guy with a distinctive car and a not-so-distinct moral compass. “We had a client ask for a cheap, quick vehicle wrap to hide his car from a girlfriend so he could go out on a weekend and party without her seeing his car,” Derek recalls. It wasn’t exactly the freedom-fighting tale he expected when he got into graphics — but hey, when love drives you into subterfuge, sometimes vinyl’s the only way out.
