Techkon Adds Support for PantoneLive in its Pressroom Color Quality Solutions

TECHKON – the innovation leader in high-precision color measurement solutions for the global print and packaging communities – announces today support of PantoneLIVE with several of their popular pressroom color measurement and quality control tools. The list of Techkon products offering support for PantoneLIVE includes the SpectroDens handheld and scanning spectrodensitometer and Techkon’s ChromaQA color quality platform.

• SpectroDens – The SpectroDens has quickly become the instrument of choice for printers looking for high quality measurements, versatility, and the ultimate user experience. Downloading of PantoneLIVE colors onto the instrument is now available for all SpectroDens 4 customers with a new firmware update and a free download of Techkon’s ChromaQA Client software.*
• ChromaQA – ChromaQA is Techkon’s cloud based color quality solution and serves as the hub for connecting the entire print production workflow; ink, prepress, pressroom, and quality control departments. With the new version 4.1 of software, ChromaQA now offers seamless connectivity and access to PantoneLIVE.*

*It should be noted that connectivity also requires the purchase of a PantoneLIVE license for each Techkon software client and instrument, which must be purchased directly from X-Rite.
