Roland DGA adds to its VersaUV line with the launch of 64-in. VersaUV LEC2-640 and 30-in. LEC2-330 UV printer/cutters for applications including labels, packaging, signs, P-O-P displays, and interior décor. The line includes new Greenguard Gold-certified EUV5 ink offered in CMYK + white + clear + primer for special effects printing, as well as new True Rich Color II print setting for a wider color gamut, according to the company.

Features include precision dot placement and control via advanced printhead technology, larger LED lamps for faster ink curing, optimized cleaning and maintenance sequences, TU4 unit for automated media take-up, integrated cutting, and more. The LEC2-330 is compatible with optional TB-30 Tension Bar for direct printing on thin film for flexible packaging and optional ET-30 Extension Table for imaging paper stocks and aluminum metalized papers for packaging applications.
