Roland DGA Hybrid UV Printers

Belt-driven presses added to VersaUV LEC2 S-Series.

Roland DGA has expanded its VersaUV LEC2 S-Series with addition of two new belt-driven hybrid UV printers: 30-in. LEC2-330S B-200 and 64-in. LEC2-640S B-200. The presses leverage a conveyer belt system to transport media to a stationary printing gantry and are engineered to print directly onto roll-to-roll, flexible, and rigid substrates including leather, felt, plastics, and rubber mats, plus three-dimensional objects up to 7.87 in. thick. Applications include personalized promotional products, signage, posters, banners, backlit graphics, P-O-P displays, trade show imagery, window coverings, interior décor, and more.

Additional features include:

  • Front-loading ink system with Greenguard Gold-certified EUV5 inks available in six configurations including dual CMYK and red, orange, white, gloss, and primer options
  • White Space Skip and two Distance Modes for print consistency on flat, irregular, or curved substrates
  • Vacuum with Reverse Blow function for keeping media in place
  • VersaWorks 6 software
  • Separate control tower with touch panel controls
