The Professional Decal Application Association (PDAA) for graphic installers has announced plans to merge with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA). PDAA will maintain its acronym, dues, referral, and certification structure from the original organization but will be referred to in the future as SGIA's PDAA.

“This is the perfect way to develop a higher profile for PDAA and its members,” says Michael Robertson, SGIA’s president and CEO. Members of PDAA will gain a host of professional resources from the SGIA community, including: business management information, marketing resources, employment listings, work safety information, and more.

“This is an exciting time for both PDAA and SGIA communities.' Robertson says. 'While PDAA members gain extensive resources and market opportunities, SGIA graphic printers are able to connect with certified installers to grow their businesses.”

PDAA was founded in 1976, and consists of leading US graphic installation and wrap companies. The organization welcomes all levels of graphic installers and strives to develop strong relationships with vinyl manufacturers and other key players in the vinyl graphic community.
