The PandaWare Company has released an upgrade to TimeCache, its time- and expense-billing application for Macintosh. TimeCache 7.0 is a Universal Binary application, designed to allow much faster operation on Intel-based Macs, while users of PPC-based Macs will also see speed enhancements thanks to a switch to a faster database engine, the company reports.

New features include: an analysis-chart feature that produces bar and pie charts for quick overviews of billable hours; more options for report formatting, and more types of reports (including a data merge to combine several users' data into a single report); and an easier-to-use interface. TimeCache continues to accept manual time and expense entries; handles retainer billing; offers tools for coordinating workgroups' time tracking and billing; offers application launching and tracking; and more.
