Mimaki has announced the TX300P-1800B direct-to-textile printer featuring a belt transport system for feeding stretchy and thin fabrics. The 74-in. machine offers high-gap printheads designed to image textiles of varying thickness, stability, and makeup. Applications include samples and short runs of fashion, sportswear, interior décor, flags, banners, and more.

The belt transport system features rear tension bars, a sticky belt, and an embedded belt washing mechanism.

The printer offers a dual-ink configuration for different types of textile printing. Users can choose from five textile inks: Sb420 for direct-to-fabric dye sublimation, Ac400 acid dye, Rc400 reactive dye, Tp400 textile pigment, and Dd400 disperse dye. Sb420 and Tp400 inks are designed for use without steaming or washing.

Additional features include waveform control for more precise ink jetting, variable drop printing, Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4, a nozzle check unit and recovery system, and a bulk ink system with 2-L capacity and uninterrupted printing in 4-color mode. Mimaki’s TxLink3 RIP software for textiles is optional.
