Onyx has added a textile edition to its Onyx 11 software (see full report in Jan/Feb 2014 issue). The software features ChromaBoost technology, allowing the user to achieve bright, more saturated colors, Onyx Step & Repeat that creates edge-to-edge fabric and wallcovering designs from one repeatable image, the Colorways tool that creates patterns in multiple colors from one file, and more.

RIP products with the textile feature include Onyx RIPCenter Textile, Onyx PosterShop Textile, and Onyx ProductionHouse Textile. A textile bundle add-on for Onyx Thrive workflow and existing RIP product owners is available in a basic or Pro module.
