Hexis has introduced a series of repositionable vinyl films for solvent inkjet printing, which utilize the company’s new Hex’Press adhesive technology. Complete with a newly developed embossed liner and adhesive, the films are designed for use as vehicle wraps with complex curves. The lined structure of the adhesive/liner makes it possible to easily eliminate air bubbles during installation.

The first two films with this technology are HX200WG1 High Performance Vinyl with gray solvent-based permanent acrylic adhesive and HX201WG1 High Performance Vinyl with clear solvent- based permanent acrylic adhesive. Both products are 270 gsm, offer a gloss finish, and feature a polyethylene liner for stability; the liner is insensitive to humidity and temperature changes.

Available in 54- or 63-in. rolls, these films offer 2-yr outdoor durability, 3- to 4-yr durability if laminated with Hexis V750 or PC100G gloss-finish pressure-sensitive films.
