Mutoh has unveiled the 64-in. XpertJet 1682SR Pro eco-solvent printer, leveraging dual-staggered AccuFine printheads and Mutoh i-screen technology for fast and smooth output with reduced banding, according to the company. Additional features include:

• Dropmaster 2 automated bidirectional alignment calibration
• Feed Master sensor for automated media feed adjustments
• Nozzle Area Select to temporarily turn off clocked print nozzles to reduce downtime (can be paired with optional Automatic Nozzle Detection Unit)
• Media Tracker barcode for roll remainder tracking
• Four-stage head height adjustment and multi-stage pressure rollers for imaging a variety of substrates
• Updated media flanges and media feeding mechanism for loading and page feed
• Updated front dryer system for improved ink dry times
• Mutoh VerteLith genuine RIP software, FlexiDesigner Mutoh Edition 21 software, and Mutoh Status Monitor companion software

The press is compatible with Mutoh MS41 UL Greenguard Gold-Certified Eco-Solvent ink, enabling output to be used in areas including daycares, hospitals, and schools. Applications include wraps, wallcoverings, retail displays, indoor/outdoor signage, event graphics, and more.
