Mutoh Sets 2010 School of Wrap Schedule

Mutoh America is partnering with media company Avery Dennison and graphics-installer Justin Pate to take the Mutoh “Hands-On” School of Wrap class across the US in 2010. The classes, reports Mutoh, are designed to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of graphic-installation mechanics so that they can gain a competitive advantage in the vehicle wrap indus-try.
Dates and locales for 2010 include:

• March 11-13: Mentor, Ohio
• June 7-9: Elkridge, Maryland
• August 16-18: Burbank, California
• October 18-20: Mentor, Ohio
• December 9-11: Phoenix, Arizona

The first two dates at each locale comprise Basic and Intermediate classes (12 students maxi-mum); the third date at each locale comprises an Advanced class (eight students maximum).

Basic/Intermediate classes will teach: tools, properties of films, removals, cleaning, layout/key panel, registration, problem solving, hardware removals, post-install tips, and more. Film used: Avery MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS. Participants will receive: NT Cutter A-551P knife, Avery Squeegee, discount for 1-year membership to Carwraps Video training platform, and a free copy of “Speedwrap Xtra” video, featuring Pate wrapping a vehicle in two hours.

Advanced classes will focus on: bumpers, deep recessed areas, seamless installations, lowering install times, creating higher quality, and more. In addition, participants can submit requests be-forehand and class will be custom fit to their needs. Film used: MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS.
