Museo Digital Fine Art Papers is pleased to announce its first-ever printing field workshop, led by award-winning landscape, nature and travel photographer Les Picker and Master Printer Robert Boyer, both of Les Picker Fine Art Photography (www.lesterpickerphoto.com).The intensive four-day Museo workshop will take place from October 17th-21st in Maine’s spectacular Acadia National Park, where the mountains meet the sea. Unlike any printing workshop ever offered, the Museo Fine Art Print workshop will take a complete workflow approach, from initial capture along Maine’s pristine shores, streams and mountains, through post-processing to final prints produced on Museo Fine Art papers and Canon state-of-the-art professional grade printers.

Participants will take home large format prints of their own work on Museo Digital Fine Art papers, as well as a gift packet chock-full of an assortment of Museo papers, discount coupons for Museo and Canon products, and more! Participants will also have full access to the printers and papers during non-instructional times.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will feature fieldwork in some of the most iconic locations in Acadia, including a sunrise and sunset shoot, rocky coast images, pine and birch forests, as well as lakes, streams and mountains. Few people know Acadia as well as Les. Not only did he live in Maine, but part of his ecology doctoral research was conducted in Acadia.

Thursday evening will start with an orientation and introduction to the printing process, along with hands-on practice and printer availability until midnight each night. Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings will be spent shooting out in the National Park. Afternoons will be spent taking your images through post-processing. Evenings will be spent printing. On at least one of the days, participants will have the option of shooting a sunrise and a sunset, both in iconic Maine locations.

Monday morning will be spent entirely on printing, allowing participants to complete their individual image projects.

For more information and to sign up for the workshop, go to Les’ website (http://www.lesterpickerphoto.com/workshops/acadia-museo-printing-workshop.html).
